USAR Task Force 6
Welcome! Since 1998 Southwest Florida Urban Search and Rescue-Task Force 6 has been serving the national community in times of need. The team is designed to respond to a cariety of disasters, including earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, technological accidents, terroist activities, hazardous materials releases, as well as trapped, lost, or injured victims or large animals.
Each member plays an integral role in the Search and Rescue process. The team is deployed with Task Force Leaders, Planning and Logistic Managers, Tech Info Officers, Structural Engineers, Search and Rescue Specialists, Rescue Officers and Communications Specialists. Together, the team is made up of a multi-talented force ready to meet the most demanding challenge.
